Had my Ford Edge 2011 at the dealership for an oil change. Now, the courtesy lights will no longer switch off after the 30 seconds or so. When I leave the car the dome light, rear view mirror lights, and some of the headlights are on. The headlights will switch off after 30 seconds. However, the interior dome light and outside rearview mirror lights stay on. Any ideas? I made sure that the dome light is not switched on manually.

I am having the door adjar issue for a while on the drivers side door where basically the door sensor doesn't seem to work. From my initial research it appears that this is a very common issue (way to common...). I believe there is a TSB. There some tutorials explaining how to replace the door latch assembly. Frankly, it appears to rather involved. More than I am used to removing the door panel in other cars for speakers or so. On the other hand repairing it at the dealer seems very expensive. Some folks paid $400. Some tried WD40 and so on, it seems none of those "fixes" last. What is the best way to deal with this? This is for a 2011 Limited (out of warranty).

Ford Edge 2011 20" chrome plastic wheels - center hub emblem
trockli replied to trockli's topic in Wheels & Tires
Yes, just the oval blue Ford emblem in the center cap. It seems glued in. I could not find a replacement sticker so far. That would be the easiest fix. Sounds like if I replace the hub cap I will need to remove the wheel. -
I wonder if the baord computer actually has the information or not. Would be interested if the service tech computer can read the PSI. You would think that a company with tire issues in the past would do anything to show you/email the data.
-
That is surprising. I mean it doens't even tell me which wheel has low pressure. This is useless. Even older GM cars have dash PSI readout ....

The other day I got a tire pressure warning. I was unable to find a menu to see which tire. How can I see the current trire pressure of all 4 wheels?

I am looking for a good, plain, black license plate holder. Any recommendations?

Hi, The Ford emblem cam of the front wheel hub of our 2011 Ford Edge It has the 20" chrome plastic wheels. I am guessing this is covered under warranty.Has anyone else experienced this? Can Ford replace the center hub element?
-
Exactly my point!

Just realized now that the 20" chrome wheels on our 11 Edge are not what I expected. Looks like the chrome is a plastic part attached on top of the wheel?

don't have GPS. -
My 11 Edge just can't keep time. The clock will drift 10 minutes in less than 6 months. Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed that our 2011 Edge has sometimes a lack of power steering at low speeds. Are there any known issues?

Are there any favorite sun shade models that Ford Edge (2011) owners use? With a good fit?

For some reason I thought I did not use to see the license plate holder. Now I do...
