    • Thank you for the quick response!     I purused @Wubster100 post and will try some of the things they did.    Also found a post by @Remis that appears to be having same problem - @Haz posted a comprehensive response.    I think I'll brew a pot of coffee and work through the posts.
    • @sounduser: Your question may be addressed by the U.K. edition Workshop Manual sections attached below as PDF documents...   Please note that I selected 177kW/240PS EcoBlue information -- if you require the lower output EcoBlue information, just let me know and I will provide it.   Good luck!   Engine - System Operation and Component Description - 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel - 2015-2022 Edge, Edge Vignale, Endura Workshop Manual.pdf Engine Component Location - Description and Operation - 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel - 2015-2022 Edge, Edge Vignale, Endura Workshop Manual.pdf Timing Belt - Removal and Installation - 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel - 2015-2022 Edge, Edge Vignale, Endura Workshop Manual.pdf Timing Belt Cover - Removal and Installation - 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel - 2015-2022 Edge, Edge Vignale, Endura Workshop Manual.pdf
    • The thread that @Wubster100 posted addresses the open position height adjustment, but yours is behaving as if there's an obstruction and that triggers it to drive closed.   See if you can move the tailgate further open by hand.   On the last page of that thread is  the reset that worked for my height adjustment using FORScan - worth trying that.
    • UPDATE:    1. No DTC's found 2. Brand new battery installed - no change 3. Lights staying on was a red herring, they do eventually turn off  4. Besides the power trunk not operating properly (opens approx 1 foot then closes), the vehicle appears to be operating fine    Any thoughts on next things to rule out?  I thought I read somewhere that there is a trunk control module?
    • What oil and oil filter have you been using?   What oil change interval have you been using?   I ask those questions because the P0012 and P0299 are typically the result of oil sludge due to lack of maintenance.   The P0012 could be the unqualified "mechanic" who did the "Timing Set" got the valve timing off, or sludge has fouled the Variable Valve Timing solenoid.   The P0299 is related to the turbo - poor maintenance could also be the cause of that.   Again, find yourself a reputable qualified mechanic.
    • I might get this wrong with what was explained, but we were told that the incorrect install from factory with the bracket and the driveshaft caused for the driveshaft to contort a little bit due to misaligning the bolts. The bolts were able to fit perfectly into place with the bracket on the new driveshaft. I apologize for my ignorance as this is like a different language for me.
    • We were beyond lucky to have this master mechanic work on this problem for us over the last month. He said it was the hardest thing he has ever had to figure out and resolve in his career. Also, we don't really ever put the car in sport-mode, but the noise was still present. Putting the car in sport-mode seemed to be a "cheat" to allow the mechanics to hear the noise better (and at all) as the noise didn't occur 100% of the time when hitting 2100 RPM. So it is false that it ONLY happened in sport-mode. The mechanic just forced the issue as it seemed to occur more often in sport-mode during his tests and stuck with that mode throughout the testing.
    • Welcome to the Forum @Todd Turner!   Your described repair efforts indicate this question may be unnecessary, but since you don't mention performing a Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure:   When the ABS Module was replaced, did you configure the new ABS Module using the As-Built values contained in the ABS Module you removed?   Also, when the brake lock-up symptom occurs, are you hearing the ABS pump activating?     Relevant sections from the 2013 Edge Workshop Manual and Wiring Resource are attached below as PDF documents...   Good Luck!   Brake Pedal and Bracket - Removal and Installation - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf BRAKE PEDAL POSITION (BPP) SWITCH - Connector C2064 Pinout Diagram - 2013 Edge.pdf BRAKE PEDAL POSITION (BPP) SWITCH - Connector C2064 Location - 2013 Edge.pdf BRAKE PEDAL POSITION (BPP) SWITCH - Power Distribution Wiring Diagram - 2013 Edge.pdf Stoplamp Switch - Removal and Installation - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf Component Tests - Brke System Diagnosis and Testing - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) - Removal and Installation - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf Pinpoint Test C - DTCs C0044.28, C0044.49 and C0044.64 - Diagnosis and Testing - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf Wheel Speed Sensor — Front - Removal and Installation - 2013 Edge Workshop Manual.pdf
