For instance, if you want to paint your rims, you spend about 20 bucks on the job if you do it yourself, vs more than 250 for a decent powder coat job. As long as you apply it properly and as long as you maintain the rims (washing them twice a month) the outcome is very nice. Applying and maintenance is vital, but if properly done, results are nice.
